this is exactly what i didn’t want to happen.  start a blog and then go for weeks without adding a post.  i know i go back nearly daily to the blogs that i read, much to my chagrin when they haven’t been updated for days.  here i am doing the very thing i hate (okay, that’s a strong word.  if you don’t update your blog every few days, i certainly don’t HATE you…)  my only excuses: the whole family was sick for over a week and this week, my parents have been here.  needless to say, i’ve spent little to no time on the internet for some time now.  i am looking forward to catching up on the blogs that i read!  here’s a photo to tide you over (who am i kidding?  here are a few photos):

silas turned seven this past tuesday! this was at his NINJA party last weekend!

lincoln eating birthday cupcake cones (just like my mom made for me in first grade!) at silas' school when we brought in treats for silas' birthday.

realized that i have too few pictures of tate in the tub. here are a few!

mohawk.
