Last time prayer made all the difference and my mom is currently gearing up for round two of chemo… leg me know the hour(s) or day(s) you can pray… here’s the when and what…
On DAY ONE- Thursday, November 8, she has her 2nd Chemo Infusion for 6-8 hours… we NEED people praying hourly beginning at 8am through 3pm (7am-2pm mountain time). Let me know what hour you can commit to praying… And specifically pray for no reaction during the chemo infusion & no nausea after the infusion.
On DAY TWO- Friday, November 9th, she has the Neulasta shot at 2pm to boost white cell production (blood count)… we NEED people praying that hour so please let me know if you can fill this slot and specifically pray for less aching in shoulders, arms & chest wall AND jaws & hips for 2-3 days after.
Over the FIRST FIVE DAYS we need people praying daily for her nervousness & jittery feelings due to the drug prednisone… she will be taking this the first day and four days following (5 total) and it literally makes your skin crawl making it extremely difficult to sleep or feel “normal.”
OVERALL we need people praying for:
-her mouth… no reaction in salivary glands (last time these tightened as if eaten something very sour every time she drank or ate) & overall soreness throughout the mouth
-abdominal pain & cramping to be minimized and go away
-protection of her heart, kidneys & mind… these intense drugs are known to do damage on these organs and even cause patients to lose their ability to focus (chemo brain)
-and finally, her body to heal… for the drugs to work, for her blood count to stay high, for her body to fight off infections & for the cancer to leave.
