Saying Good-Bye Hurts January 8, 2013

Early Monday morning, around 1AM, my mother’s sister Peggy passed away. She had been battling breast cancer for quite a while and moved home from the hospital into hospice before Christmas. Certainly it is good to know she suffers and struggles no more… but saying goodbye right now is hard… it’s never easy. Please pray for my mom, her 2 brothers, and Peggy’s husband, Jon, as the funeral takes place on Thursday.

Since the funeral is scheduled for Thursday, my mom’s 5th chemo treatment will take place on Friday instead (and she will also probably learn of the PET scan results that day). Please let me know what hour(s) you can pray on Friday or what day(s) of the upcoming week.

And thank you again, your prayers are such a strength through times like this… it can all begin to feel so heavy and so hard, and every prayer whispered is felt and truly helps… thank you so much!
